Our Associates
Richard E. Sutton
Richard is a graduate of Ball State University where he was president of his fraternity and the Student Governing Board. He began his benefit career with Blue Cross Blue Shield and left there after ten years to forge a business in the consulting arena. Richard has specialized in doing business with Indiana public school corporations, public libraries and other public employee groups, and counts a considerable number of those as long-term clients. His community work includes membership on the School Board of Trustees at Brownsburg Community School Corporation and service on a number of other business advisory boards.
Paul Biltimier
Paul is a graduate of Indiana State University with a B.S. Degree in Marketing. He earned the Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1993. Paul has worked in group medical, life, and disability insurance for over 35 years. During his years at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Paul was a Sales Representative; Vice President of Marketing, Manager of small group sales and Account Retention Representative for large groups (100 + lives). Paul has experience with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), and Traditional networks. Paul also had expertise in several funding arrangements, including fully insured, minimum premium, cost plus and third party administrators (TPAs).
Gayle L. Byers
After receiving an undergraduate degree from DePauw University, Gayle Byers completed a Master’s degree at Indiana State University, and has done post-graduate work at Purdue’s Krannert School of Business in the area of insurance and retirement planning. A background in group insurance management with Blue Cross Blue Shield and later as Vice President of Acordia Collegiate Benefits has given him a broad expertise in health care financing and benefit design. Mr. Byers also served as Vice President of Key Benefit Administrators in Indianapolis prior to joining RESutton & Associates. Gayle is active with the Scottish Rite, the Murat Shrine and the philanthropy of Shrine Childrens’ Hospitals & Burn Centers.
Sharon Jones
Sharon joined RE Sutton & Associates in January, 2007 after a long career in the insurance industry. During her years with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, she served as Senior Account Manager in the Indiana Large Group Market working primarily in the public sector with large Indiana public schools. Sharon has experience with a variety of financial arrangements, as well as membership, billing, customer service and project work. Sharon and her husband live in Noblesville and enjoy a variety of community activities and spending time with family.
Nicole Taulton
Nicole is a graduate of Butler University with a B.S. Degree in Economics. Prior to joining RE Sutton & Associates, Nicole worked at The Principal Financial Group (formerly J.F. Molloy & Associates). During her years at Principal, Nicole worked as a Benefit Consultant in the Reporting and Analysis Department, focusing on client reporting and financial analysis.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Deb Johnson
Deb received an Associates degree in business from the University of Indianapolis. Prior to joining RE Sutton & Associates she was an Account Coordinator at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. She coordinates and manages the internal structure of the firm’s office and is involved with quoting individual and small group business. Deb is actively involved in the activities of her church and community in Hancock County.
